The awards keep on coming for our Local Harvest Supplier Hobsons Brewery based Cleobury Mortimer

We are pleased to announce that following previous awards for their beers & environmental stance Hobsons Brewery has done it again and
collected five awards at the SIBA Wales & West Region Beer Competition, which took place on Friday 6th May at the Ludlow Spring Festival on the grounds of Ludlow Castle.
Over 200 beers were judged by 100 experts during the day, Hobsons entered seven of the award categories and had a success rate of 70% picking up five awards! Not bad for a brewery who started brewing out of an old saw mill 18 years ago in Cleobury Mortimer.
Four of the awards were for Hobsons bottled beers, an expanding part of the business. Twisted Spire a vibrant blond beer received the Gold award in the Gold beers category and was announced runner up in the Champion Bottled Beers.
Firm favorites Postman's Knock and Old Henry respectively picked up bronze awards in their categories. Hobsons Mild, which should probably be named Champion Mild picked up yet another award, this time the SIBA Gold award for standard Mild ales, adding to the CAMRA West Midlands award in December.
