Members are at the heart of the Midcounties Co-operative and unlike many other businesses you can have a say in how the Society is run. From a simple question to a colleague in store, to joining in a debate at the Annual General Meeting, you can shape our business and increase our success by getting involved.
There are other benefits to being a member, including receiving a share of the profits. When you shop in any of our businesses you earn membership points and twice a year these are then used to calculate how much you will receive. The more you shop with us, the more you earn. And this in turn also means that we have more profits that we can give back to your local community. You can read more about how we use our profits here. The Midcounties Co-operative is a campaigning organisation, and we care deeply about a range of ethical, environmental and community issues. We want to give our members opportunities to learn about, and get more involved in, our campaigns and you can do this in a number of ways including attending events, joining an online discussion or signing a pledge.
