We don’t just talk about making a difference, at The Midcounties Co-operative we know that every action we take will have a real impact on our suppliers, members and local communities and we work hard to make sure their experiences of our Society are positive and beneficial. We pay our suppliers fairly, we trade locally to support smaller businesses within our trading area and we campaign for changes that will benefit our members and customers. Why do we do this? Because we feel it’s the right thing to do.

It’s not only our food teams that are actively involved in trading ethically, our other trading groups take every action to ensure that they are acting in the interests of suppliers, customers and the environment at every turn.
